Framed or unframed A4 prints.
People from Yunnan Province, China are known for their love of eating mushrooms. They have more experience of getting food poisoned by mushrooms than the people from the rest of the world. They share their experience with fly agarics (Amanita caesarea) in the following lyric:
'Red umbrella, White trunk. After you eat them you lie on the stretcher.' (This is what the Chinese characters on the right-hand side mean)
In the watercolour painting, the elder mushrooms are telling the younger one about their legend spread among human beings. The little mushroom is listening very carefully.
I hope this funny little painting on the bag can bring a smile to your face :)
Japanese washi paper has been selected to imitate the texture and bleeding effect of the original work.
The wooden frame comes with tempered glass.
