The original watercolour painting is a live painting of a mango and a papaya. I really love the variation of greenish colours, and their lovely aroma. I express the uneven surfaces using outlines that are not smooth at all, and varied darkness of green.
The text including Chinese characters on the right hand side says: 'A MANGO A PAPAYA' followed by my pen name and a fake stamp.
Japanese washi paper has been selected to imitate the texture and bleeding effect of the original work.
