This little lovely plant was brought home from M&S in 2023. I painted it using ink and water on bamboo paper, before it died (for some mysterious reason...). I found the way its leaves crossing over one another very interesting, which is what I want to capture in this little painting.
Japanese inkjet washi paper has been selected to imitate the texture and bleeding effect of the original work.
