The original work is a watercolour remake of Claude Monet's Peaches. I painted it as a piece of homework for my watercolour class. At that time, I felt down and hopeless, so I was expecting the finished painting to be as dull and dreadful as my mental state. Nonetheless, I recognised the vibrancy and vividness upon accomplishment, which reminded me of my sharp sensations of colours and passion for life. The good things were still there, but just temporarily hidden by the fog of unpleasant thoughts and feelings. This work then turned out to be my favourite painting.

The above was written by me in 2021. This year (2024) I myself am using a tote bag and a phone case (iPhone version tho) with this painting printed on, as a gift and also as a blessing: don't forget to enjoy the sweet and colourful fruits of my hard work now. I hope you get the same blessing too!
