This is a sketch of a carnation, on rice paper using watercolour. The yellow-orangy colour looked as if the flower was softly glowing, which inspired me to capture that moment on paper.
Speciality inkjet watercolour paper has been selected to imitate the texture and bleeding effect of the original work.
